Manual Switch Box

RTI’s manual switch box is a low-cost alternative to the MT Century and supports 96 pins. It is capable for a variety of electrical benchtop testing applications. The switch box features 3 position high-quality sealed C&K switches which are used to enable each signal to float or be tied to V+ or V-.

The manual switch box interfaces to DUT boards using a single 100-pin Yamaichi connector or 32-pin IDC connectors.

Customization

For higher pin count devices, multiple switch boxes can be used in series. RTI offers standard and custom numbered overlay panels to update the pin numbers on the box’s surface to match the device under test. Overlays are available for switch numbering of series of units. Custom overlays are also available for BGA and PGA devices for number-letter pin designations.

A/B relay extensions are available for comparative testing and offer rapid switching between 2 DUT boards connected to the manual switch box.

The manual switch box is commonly paired with the 950 series benchtop test fixture.

DUT Boards for Switch Box

DUT boards with one 96 channel 100-pin connector cables directly to the manual switch box. Compatible with most RTI test sockets. 

R1 board with a 96-pin connector routed to a 48-pin DIP socket. Double DIP R1 boards are available for 96-pin devices or packages.

R1 board with a 96-pin connector routed to a dedicated CSP socket.

R1 board with a 96-pin connector routed to a ZIF socket.

Two 96-pin connectors cable directly to the manual switch box for a maximum of 192-pins. Compatible with most RTI test sockets.
